| Comments | Chris Craig's GoldWave is a full-featured
digital sound recording, playback, and editing application. Digital sounds
can be edited, and processed using a variety of filtering effects including
distortion, doppler, echo, noise gate, flange, interpolate, invert, mechanize,
offset, pan, reverse, silence, and volume fade-in, fade-out, maximize,
and shape. Sounds may be read and written using several of the most common
sound file formats.

| Notes | GoldWave 3.03 is designed for Windows 3.1, but runs under Windows 95 and Windows NT. As of this writing, version 3.21 is imminent. The new version is written for Windows 95 and Windows NT and includes additional features, as well as long-name support. This new version is available from Chris Craig at his Web site. | |
